so i took yesterday and today off to get orientated to grad school. which basically meant yesterday go be led around campus and shown things i already know. but. it wasnt sitting at a desk so bonus. im not really sure who decides to put which people in which groups...but , and this is just and observation...im not sure have a group of twenty with only four people who aren't in the health sciences program is really a good mix. also...in a group of twenty when there are only two guys...well...im not going to complain about that. i felt it was important to make it clear to the group that Chartwell's was the anti christ, and my point was proven when we stopped off at the organic coffee place at Cornerstone and the owner berated Chartwells for wanting to charge him $7000 to put up one poster in the res dining hall.
AND THEN WE ALL GOT FREE ALCOHOL BECAUSE GRAD SCHOOL IS AWESOME LIKE THAT UNTIL THEY TELL US NOW YOU GET TO GO BE A POOR STUDENT AGAIN FUCK! hahahaha.
although, there was a point at the free alcohol reception thing that did help me prove a point about why i said it was important to study the effects of televised broadcast of democratic proceedings directly from the HoC, cause when i brought it up everyone at the table busted out with "they're like children! all they do is yell at each other! it's a disgrace!"
and then i got to go "AHA! you see? thus you have proved my point as to why it is important to study the effects of televised broadcast of democratic proceedings directly from the HoC!" ok, well not in that exact phrasing but whatever.
and then i went and read comic books on Everett's couch and got mad at Iron Man, but that was after we ooh'd and ahh'd his new iMac.

today: IKEA.
tonight: Yuk Yuk's.
tomorrow: Queens of the Stoneage.
