this is a call to all my past resignations

i have a month left to be an abso-fucking-lutely amazingly fantastically impressive student to all my profs. or at least to my communication profs. therefore, i shall do this.
im about 120 pages short of my goal for this evening. very doable. i may in fact read past that.
that is unless my brain goes into verbose shock and overloads and everything i read turns into "mmnmm mnmmm mnnmm mnnmm".
most of the time i enjoy verbose books. it helps when you actually find the subject matter interesting. i doubt most people could really stomach reading about the historical significance of the yellow papers and their relation to the creation of a children's conumer culture based around literacy. but iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii like it. im curious as to why i havent really seen any connection made between the medieval character of the child as being consciously aware of the abuse and hardships of life and modern children who have constant access to TV and other forms of media that quite visibly wrench kids away from the Victorian philosophy of the child as innocent and again give kids a constant stream of media that educates them in the banality and consequences of reality. really, there ought to be this connection. but we do have to hand in a reading log for this class so i'll mention that in it.
this weekend im going to finishing all my catching up and get started on my final papers. crunch time is looming not so far away and it's always good to get a head start on some of these things.
