i didnt watch the oscars. i dont really give a shit about them. i dont really watch any awards shows, i think they're pretty pointless. and really...an awards show 'season'??? please.
that burger is called the Skookum Chief. it is i think the biggest burger toppings-wise you can get in vancouver. theres the pattie, about an inch of lettuce, onions, tomatoes, bacon, a fried egg, aaaaaand a hot dog on it. plus you know...mayo and the likes. my aunt and uncle are amazed every time that i can mange to finish it.
i also had to go get my cell phone from my aunts school this morning because i left it at their house in north van last night. i was pretty out of it yesterday so i really dont think i would have noticed until i would have tried to plug it in.
main and hastings is an interesting intersection at 9:30 in the morning.
i think i signed a PETA petition today. it was about chickens. they made me sign it cause i wanted some stickers. ok...well they didnt maaake me sign it, but i already had a huge handful of them...im not even really sure what it was for...just that it had to do with chickens of the tasty kind. and then i thought i should have gone back over to talk to them while eating an egg salad sandwhich.
there was this one time in edmonton where the PETA people set up camp in front of the school where my mom was teaching for a few days. and then one day a guy took his camping BBQ and put shoulder straps on it and clipped a little bottle of propane to his belt and follwed them around all day cooking meat on it. i thought that was pretty funny.
i really do like vegetarian food. my first girlfriend was vegan, so that was neat. thats why i only ever get the soy drinks at booster juice.
i dont feel like i have any impending doomish type deadlines, so im going to make use of tonight and tomorrow night to do some much needed catch up reading. im also going to have to go buy more printer paper. you think theres a People for the Ethical Treatment of Trees? i dunno...they'd get pretty fucking mad at nature i think. "HEY! dont you turn those leaves yellow!!!"

Happy belated birthday from a fellow March-birthday person.

Are you going to any of the acoustic shows at The Cultch? I'll be at the Saturday one.

Your recent bloggy titles have reminded me that I need more Placebo records (all I have is WYIN.)

You take rad pictures.

Does that burger look like an octopus on purpose?

If I ever have a band, it will be called "Octopus Dog-Walker," a really obscure Conan O'Brien reference that no one will get!
