people are far too dependant on technology. your computer will save you from everything.
and then your computer breaks and you're fucked cause you don't know how to look anything up in the fucking yellow pages because it's not a screen and there are no goddamn buttons to fucking push and tell you what to dial.

i was in the media lab from about 10am til 6:30 today. our vidkid group actually managed to get a lot done in that span. we got a nifty little toy that lets us record telephone conversations.
it loses it's niftiness when big companies like nintendo refuse to talk to you if you say that you are going to record the conversation for academic purposes.

like..."hello welcome to nintendo how may i help you tod- NO!!! NO YOU CANT DO THAT!!! TURN IT OFF!!! HANG UP!!!! POKEMON WILL DESTROY YOU!!!!"

ok, so maybe not so dramatic but whatever.

tomorrow morning is the interview with the west virginia board of education.
and then right after that is the interview with a kines prof who specializes in human/technology interaction.
and then soc class.
and then marathon soc essay writing...

...this is getting repetitive isn't it?

even IM getting sick of hearing me bitch about this.

um...

cookie cookie cookie, i made you out of dough!
cookie cookie cookie, i'll eatcha doncha know!
ooooooh!
cookie cookie cookie!

i actually feel like being productive tonight.
of course, that basically means i get to start studying kinesiology.
bah.

there's always songs about baking...

oh and

West Virginia?

How'd it go? Or how'd they go, as you had more than one interview.

If my computer goes down, I find it really frustrating to a degree but I didn't have the internet until I was 18 so I had plenty of time to learn how to get through the majority of life manually.
