IME is awesome music to listen to at work. today i thought i blew out my headphone speakers. not listening to IME. i had them sitting on the desk plugged into the computer and had the Standing Committe on Canadian Heritage turned up so i could hear it without having it to wear them. nothing like listening to a committee dealing with a national public broadcaster chaired by a member from the the Bloc, makes total sense to me. i told the interns the secret about time travel in the House of Commons today. then they invited me to sit with them at lunch.
we had two new people start at work today too. holy shiznat.
plus we had our monthly meeting and since im now technically a new staff member i had to go stand up and wave and say "HI MY NAME IS PAT AND I WAS STOLEN FROM A TEMP AGENCY" only not that loud.
i have to go work overtime tomorrow. lame. i'll go in the morning so i dont waste my day.
i keep telling myself to go for a bike ride and today i think il'l actually do it. time to explore da round here-ness.
i mentally added up the cost of clothing on one of the interns today and i hit $600 just with the jeans and shirt. i stopped adding after that.
i forgot that QP starts early on friday so i came in halfway though, but that's ok cause it's friday and it's never that exciting on Friday anyway. it was funny when the NDP asked a question dealing with seniors finances and tax fairness after the Income Trust Tax law was put in place and then the funny thing was that the parliamentary secretry to the minister of indian and northern affairs answered and i laughed and told my screen that it was stupid that he was answering a finance question but it's friday so the finance people are probably up in the fifth floor restaurant having lunch.
how many BCom's does it take to collate? answer= 5.
